Selecting event type
In order to create a report about a particular event type:
- Open the main application window.
- Click the Report link in the top part of the window. This will open the Protection state window.
- In the window that opens, on the Report tab, click the Detailed report button.
- In the window that opens from the drop-down list on the right (see the figure below), select the event type:
- Critical events – events of a critical importance which indicate problems with Kaspersky Rescue Disk, or vulnerabilities in the protection of your computer. They include, for instance, detection of a virus or an operation failure.
- Important events – events which should always be attended to since they reflect important situations in the application’s operation, for example, the terminated event.
- All events – if a report on all events needs to be created.
Selecting event type
If you select All events, the report will display all events but only if in the Reports and Storages section, in the Reports group of fields the corresponding box is checked. This parameter allows the non-critical report logs to be included in the report. If this box is not checked, a warning icon and the Disabled link are displayed near the event type selection drop-down list. Click the specified link to open the reports configuration window and check the corresponding boxes.
